I am a proud owner of an outstanding pair of speakers. After listening to many "great" pairs including Boston Acoustics, Bowers and Wilkins, and Definitive Technology, i found that these speakers in the price range of 500-1500 dollars simply could not keep up with the Monitor 7 at the humble price of 0 a pair. Looks can be deceiving and so can price tags. I've learned to judge based on what i hear and not on what i've "heard".
